eMail to John Choquette

So I sent this email to JC, and we thought it was funny so here you go...

Yalp.

I wrote you back a while ago a detailed message that didn't actually send, because of a cookie monster. He ate my session cookie because my computer fell asleep, and that apparently was just what he was waiting for.

You see the server baked me a special cookie, and it said, don't eat the precious. What I want you to do, for me in exchange for keeping track of an email you're writing is keep this special cookie safe, my precious. As proof, you must return the cookie to me so that I know it is you making with the emailing.

But the precious was stolen, and the server did not care, for not only was I not vigilant in guarding the cookie, but I was careless with time.

This makes a server very angry! Putting a computer to sleep when you have been given the precious! That is insane, who would ever stop making with the emailing?!?! Preposterous! That would disrespect the cookie, allowing it to go stale... for what good is a stale cookie, except to give to someone and laugh as they bite into it. That guilty pleasure is not worth betraying the precious.

Yeah!

So like I wrote this other email that answers your email, but I didn't feel like writing it again... so I wrote this one about that one instead.... then sent it like weeks later.
